Beck, the No. 65 overall pick and Arizona’s third-round selection, agreed to a deal worth roughly $7.4 million over four years, per the club, with a 2026 base salary of $885,000. The signing means the Cardinals have now finished contracts with every member of their 2026 draft class, a tidy piece of housekeeping to knock out on the same day the roster convened.
The former Georgia and Miami passer arrives with an unusually well-traveled résumé for a rookie. Across stops at both schools, Beck completed 966 of 1,390 attempts (69.5 percent) for 11,725 yards and 88 touchdowns, numbers that once had him in first-round conversations before a down 2025 season pushed his stock into Day 2.
He steps into a quarterback room that is anything but settled. Jacoby Brissett, who started 14 games a year ago, remains in a contract standoff of his own as camp begins, and the room also includes veterans Gardner Minshew II and Kedon Slovis. Beck is not being asked to win the job immediately, but a crowded depth chart and an unresolved situation at the top give the rookie a clearer runway to earn reps than most third-round quarterbacks get out of the gate.
