Kentavious Caldwell-Pope intends to sign a one-year, $3.9 million minimum contract with the 76ers after negotiating a buyout with Memphis, per ESPN’s Shams Charania on Saturday. The 33-year-old guard, who won the 2020 title alongside LeBron James in Los Angeles, arrives a day after James chose Philadelphia. Caldwell-Pope had exercised his $21.6 million player option with the Grizzlies in June and played a career-low 51 games last season after finger surgery.
