The left wing avoids arbitration and stays with Dallas after a near-trade this offseason.
Jason Robertson signed a $12 million contract with the Dallas Stars to avoid a salary arbitration hearing, keeping the left wing in Dallas after the team had explored trading him earlier in the offseason. Robertson, 26, posted 45 goals and 96 points across 82 games last season.
The deal resolves the Stars' arbitration question weeks before the hearing would have taken place, locking Robertson into another season on the roster as Dallas heads toward training camp in September.
