The 37-year-old right wing, three years removed from hip resurfacing, is a free agent after 25-26 with Detroit.
Patrick Kane said his hip feels strong three years after undergoing resurfacing surgery, per reporting on his potential return to Chicago. Kane spent the last three seasons rehabbing with Detroit, posting 16-41-57 across 67 games in 25-26 before becoming a free agent.
Kane, 37, debuted with the Blackhawks in 2007 and spent 16 seasons there before joining Detroit in 2023. Any move back to Chicago would come as a veteran option for a team rebuilding its depth.
