Injury

The 49ers receiver is out of camp with lingering knee trouble from last season.

Ricky Pearsall is out of practice with swelling in his knee stemming from a PCL injury sustained during the 2025 season. The 49ers said Wednesday they are considering all options to address it. Pearsall caught 36 passes for 528 yards across 9 games last year before the injury.

If surgery becomes necessary, the recovery timeline could extend through the entire 2026 season, per reporting. The team's next step is determining whether conservative treatment or an operative approach is needed.
