The forward clears Charlotte's roster ahead of a move to Spain.
The Hornets officially waived forward Mouhamadou Gueye on Thursday, clearing a roster spot after Valencia Basket announced last week it had agreed to sign him for the coming season. Gueye, 27, appeared in two games for Charlotte this season, averaging 8.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 22.5 minutes.
Gueye went undrafted out of Pitt in 2022 and has spent his three-year career moving between NBA and European rosters. The waiver clears him to finalize his deal with Valencia.
