The rookie receiver grew up playing the Chiefs in video games before Kansas City drafted him.

Cyrus Allen, the Chiefs' rookie wide receiver, said playing alongside Patrick Mahomes in real games feels surreal after years of controlling the Chiefs in Madden. Allen has been a Kansas City fan in the video game since before the team drafted him this offseason.

The rookie joins a Chiefs receiver room in training camp that includes Mahomes, the 10-year veteran and 89.6-rated passer who threw 22 touchdowns last season. Allen will compete for roster spots and reps during the preseason.
