Reid reports the quarterback looks sharp early in his return from a torn ACL.
Patrick Mahomes is showing positive signs in Kansas City's training camp as he works back from a torn ACL, per head coach Andy Reid. The 10-year veteran and 30-year-old Chiefs quarterback posted a 22-11 TD-INT line and 89.6 rating over 14 games last season before the injury.
Mahomes' camp performance matters for Kansas City's preseason depth-chart work and injury-report tracking as the team prepares for the regular season. Any setback or change in his recovery pace would reshape the quarterback picture and timeline heading into Week 1.
