Green Bay will use camp and preseason to settle its cornerback depth chart behind Nixon.
Carrington Valentine and Brandon Cisse are competing for the Packers' second starting cornerback role during training camp, per ESPN's Rob Demovsky. Keisean Nixon, the team's incumbent starter, is dealing with a hamstring injury but is expected to be healthy for the start of the season. Valentine, a four-year veteran, recorded 25 solo tackles and 4 pass deflections in 17 games last season. Cisse is an undrafted rookie.
The Packers will use the remainder of camp and preseason to determine which cornerback pairs with Nixon on the opening-day depth chart.
