The Suns lock in their starting forward through the next phase of their roster.

Dillon Brooks agreed to a three-year, $73 million extension with the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, per ESPN's Shams Charania. The deal keeps the 30-year-old forward anchored to the franchise after he averaged 20.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists across 56 games last season.

Brooks, in his eighth year in the league, has been a cornerstone starter for Phoenix, playing 30.4 minutes per game. The extension secures continuity on a Suns roster built around its star trio.
