The Rangers third baseman will miss more time as his recovery progresses slowly.

Josh Jung will remain sidelined for at least 10 more days with a calf injury, Rangers manager Skip Schumaker said Wednesday, per AllDLLS.com. Jung, a five-year veteran and the Rangers' primary third baseman, has appeared in only 29 games this season and is batting .321 (34-for-106) with 4 home runs and 19 RBI.

The timeline places Jung's earliest possible return in mid-August as Texas enters the final two months of the season. The Rangers sit in the AL West playoff race, and Jung's absence forces continued reliance on depth options at the position during the stretch run.
