The left-hander returns after 13 months away from an elbow procedure.

The Rangers reinstated left-hander Cody Bradford from the 60-day injured list Wednesday. Bradford underwent an internal brace procedure on his left elbow in late June 2025 and missed the entire 2026 season in recovery, marking roughly 13 months away from competition.

Bradford's return to availability comes during the stretch run, when Texas may use depth pitching for either rotation depth or bullpen depth depending on his workload capacity. The timing of his activation suggests the Rangers view him as a candidate for late-season usage as the team navigates September and any playoff rotation needs.
