Dallas fills a roster hole after losing Princeton Fant to a torn ACL.

The Cowboys claimed tight end Zack Kuntz off waivers Thursday to replace Princeton Fant, who tore his ACL and is out for the season. Kuntz, 26, has one year of NFL experience and was a free agent at the time of the claim.

Fant, 27, appeared in one game for Dallas in 2025 before the injury. The move gives the Cowboys a reserve option at tight end during camp and preseason as they address the depth chart.
