The 24-year-old running back locks in long-term deal after a 1,223-yard, 13-TD 2025 season.

Jahmyr Gibbs and the Detroit Lions agreed to a three-year extension Thursday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal keeps the 24-year-old back in Detroit beyond the 2026 season after he rushed for 1,223 yards and 13 touchdowns on 243 carries last season.

Gibbs has been a centerpiece of the Lions' offense since his arrival in 2023. The extension ties him to Detroit through the prime years of his career and removes a potential offseason question mark as the team prepares for training camp.
