Taylor, coming off a 1,585-yard, 18-TD season, secures a contract that places him among the league's top-paid backs.

The Colts signed running back Jonathan Taylor to a reported two-year, $44 million extension, keeping the 27-year-old in Indianapolis through the 2026 season. Taylor rushed for 1,585 yards and 18 touchdowns across 17 games in 2025, averaging 4.9 yards per carry.

The deal ranks Taylor just behind Bijan Robinson's contract with Atlanta, positioning both as centerpieces of their respective backfield plans heading into camp. Taylor has recorded seven seasons of production since his 2020 debut with the Colts.
