The seventh-year running back expressed strong commitment to Denver after his first season with the club.

J.K. Dobbins called Sean Payton his favorite head coach he's played for and said he was "born to be a Bronco," per remarks made during training camp. The 27-year-old back rushed for 772 yards and 4 touchdowns on 153 carries in 10 games last season, his first in Denver after seven years in the league.

Dobbins' comments come as the Broncos enter the 2026 preseason with their offense anchored by a veteran running back in a coaching system now in its second year under Payton. The fit appears settled after a productive 2025 campaign.
