Larry Bird spent his entire 13-year NBA career with the Boston Celtics, winning three championships, three consecutive MVPs (the only non-center to achieve that feat), and reshaping the league alongside Magic Johnson during the 1980s Lakers-Celtics rivalry. The Celtics drafted him a year early in 1978 under a now-defunct junior eligibility rule. After retirement he served as Pacers head coach (winning 1998 Coach of the Year, the only person to win MVP, COY, and Executive of the Year) and Pacers president of basketball operations.
