Wilt Chamberlain is the only NBA player ever to score 100 points in a single game (March 2, 1962, vs the New York Knicks at Hershey Sports Arena). His 50.4 points per game in 1961-62 and 22.9 career rebounds per game are records that have never been seriously challenged. Won two NBA championships, four MVPs, and was inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame in 1979.
