Injury

The Vikings receiver's absence from practice should be brief, per coach Kevin O'Connell.

Jordan Addison jammed his thumb and was absent from Vikings practice, but coach Kevin O'Connell said the injury should not sideline him long. Addison, 24, is Minnesota's third receiver and caught 42 passes for 610 yards and 3 touchdowns last season.

The injury came during the NFL's training camp phase, when roster rotations and depth-chart battles are still in flux. His return window remains unclear, but O'Connell's framing suggests a short-term absence rather than a multi-week setback.
