Babe Ruth won seven World Series titles and hit 714 career home runs over a 22-year MLB career split between the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, and Boston Braves. Started as a left-handed pitcher (94-46 with a 2.28 ERA), then became the most prolific power hitter in baseball history. One of the five original inductees into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936.

1914-1919Boston Red SoxStarted as a left-handed pitcher: 89 wins, 2.28 ERA. Won three World Series titles (1915, 1916, 1918). Began transitioning to outfield in 1918.
1920-1934New York YankeesSold to the Yankees Dec 26, 1919 for $100,000 + $300,000 loan — the 'Curse of the Bambino' transaction. Hit 60 home runs in 1927; won four more World Series.
1935Boston BravesFinal season in the National League. Hit three home runs in his last game in Pittsburgh on May 25, 1935, then retired a week later.
