Tim Duncan spent his entire 19-year NBA career with the San Antonio Spurs after going #1 overall in the 1997 Draft. Five championships (1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2014), two MVPs (2002, 2003), three Finals MVPs, and 15 All-Defensive selections (the most for any forward in league history). He's the cornerstone of the most-consistent franchise in modern American sports — the Spurs made the playoffs in all 19 of his seasons and won 50+ games in 18 of them. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2020 as a member of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. His quiet, deliberate playing style — and his decision to never publicly negotiate his contracts — became the defining template for what San Antonio would call the 'Spurs Way.'
